Darkwater is an original acrylic painting on canvas. It measures 12 inches tall, by 36 inches wide. Darkwater comes from my Maine landscape series. This painting shows that sometimes when you go into the foliage and find a stream, the only reflections are dark making the water look almost black. I think its a really neat thing in nature, and wanted to recreate it on canvas.
The painting comes in a contemporary black metal frame. Scroll down to see the image of the framed painting. It is fixed with a wire hanger on the back. The painting is signed on the front as well as signed and dated on the back.
